Thin Lizzy's "Thunder and Lightning" European Tour in 1983 was one of the band's final tours before their breakup. The tour was in support of their twelfth studio album, "Thunder and Lightning," which was released in 1983. This album featured the classic Thin Lizzy lineup of Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, John Sykes, Brian Downey, and Darren Wharton.
The "Thunder and Lightning" European Tour took the band across various European countries, and it marked a significant moment in Thin Lizzy's history. Unfortunately, this tour would be one of the last times fans could see the band perform live with Phil Lynott as their lead singer, as he passed away in 1986.
The "Thunder and Lightning" album and tour were well-received, and songs like "Cold Sweat" and the title track "Thunder and Lightning" became fan favorites. The tour is remembered as a final high point for Thin Lizzy, showcasing their energy and musicianship. The band's legacy continues to live on through their music and influence on the rock and metal genres.
