Eric Singer, born Eric Doyle Mensinger on May 12, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, is a renowned American drummer best known for his work with the rock band Kiss. However, his musical journey includes notable contributions to other prominent acts, including Alice Cooper.

Singer joined Alice Cooper's band in the late 1980s, a period marked by Cooper's resurgence in the hard rock scene. Singer's tenure with Alice Cooper began in 1989 when he played on the "Trash" tour. His powerful and precise drumming style perfectly complemented Cooper's theatrical and heavy rock sound. This collaboration was pivotal during a critical time in Cooper's career, as he was making a significant comeback with hits like "Poison." Singer's solid rhythm section helped elevate live performances, adding energy and intensity to the shows. He continued to work with Cooper on subsequent tours and albums, including "Hey Stoopid" in 1991, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and dependable drummer.

Singer's ability to adapt to various musical styles and his stage presence made him a valuable asset to Cooper's band. His contributions to Alice Cooper's music and performances are still remembered fondly by fans of both artists.
