THE TOUR
Charley Pride was a renowned American country music singer who enjoyed a successful career spanning several decades. Born one of eleven children to a colored sharecropper farmer in rural Sledge, Mississippi, Pride’s love of music and baseball was something that was woven into his genes. When he was only 14 years old he pitched for the Memphis Red Sox of the Negro American League.

He was known for his rich baritone voice and became one of the most prominent African American country music artists in history. Throughout his career, he toured extensively both in the United States and internationally.

During the 1980s, Charley Pride continued to perform and tour, showcasing his hit songs such as "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" and "Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone."  Charley Pride was known for his engaging and charismatic stage presence. He would connect with the audience, share anecdotes, and make them feel like they were part of an intimate gathering.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectable and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it. Tour programs often feature exclusive content like behind-the-scenes photos, interviews, and detailed information about the artists and their performances. Additionally, they serve as a snapshot of a particular era in an artist's career, making them valuable to both music enthusiasts and historians.  Whether you're a dedicated fan or a passionate collector, owning these programs offers a tangible connection to the music world and serves as a treasured piece of memorabilia.
