Vintage original official concert merchandise from the actual gig in 1990 - 33 years ago.
This is a very interesting piece of history featuring both black & white plus full colour photos. It's jam-packed with information about Val Doonican - his early days, his family, his television career and his Australian tours. The program has been covered with plastic which unfortunately is quite bubbled. The interior pages are perfect.

THE TOUR
Val Doonican was an Irish singer, guitarist, and television presenter known for his soothing and easy-listening style of music. He was born Michael Valentine Doonican on February 3, 1927, in Waterford, Ireland. He grew up in a musical family and developed an early interest in music and entertainment.
Val Doonican was known for his warm stage presence, and his concerts were typically filled with his popular songs and humorous anecdotes. His tours to Australia were well-received, and he had a significant following in the country. He often performed in major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
This concert tour was Val's eleventh trip to Australia and it also included New Zealand where Val performed in the major concert centres of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Palmerston North.
Val Doonican continued touring until his retirement in 2009. He passed away on July 1, 2015, at the age of 88.
