THE TOUR
The Cars' "Door To Door" tour took place in 1987 and was in support of their sixth studio album, also titled "Door To Door." The tour marked the band's last major concert tour before their initial breakup in 1988.

The "Door To Door" album was released in August 1987 and featured the hit single "You Are the Girl." The album received mixed reviews from critics and didn't achieve the same commercial success as the band's previous releases. Nevertheless, The Cars embarked on a North American concert tour to promote the album and connect with their fanbase.

The tour kicked off on September 5, 1987, in Omaha, Nebraska, and included numerous shows across the United States and Canada. The band performed in various cities, including Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto, and New York City. They played a mix of new songs from the "Door To Door" album, as well as many of their classic hits from earlier albums, such as "Just What I Needed," "Drive," and "Shake It Up."

The Cars' live performances were known for their tight musicianship and the charismatic presence of frontman Ric Ocasek. The band incorporated a blend of rock, pop, and new wave elements into their sound, creating a unique and energetic concert experience.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectible and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it.
