THE TOUR
The Beach Boys, known for their distinctive harmonies and surf-inspired music, had already achieved great success in the 1960s with hits like "Surfin' USA," "California Girls," and "Good Vibrations." By 1977, the band had experienced numerous lineup changes and had evolved their sound, incorporating elements of progressive rock and other genres.

The 1977 tour aimed to promote the Beach Boys' recent studio album release, "The Beach Boys Love You," which came out in April of that year. The album featured a return to a more stripped-down sound and showcased Brian Wilson's experimental songwriting.

The tour spanned various cities across the United States, including both indoor and outdoor venues. The Beach Boys performed in renowned concert halls, arenas, and amphitheaters, reaching out to their dedicated fan base.

The Beach Boys' concerts during this tour typically featured a mix of their classic hits from the 1960s, songs from their recent albums, and some deep cuts. Audiences could expect to hear popular tracks such as "Surfin' USA," "Help Me, Rhonda," and "Wouldn't It Be Nice," along with newer songs like "Solar System" and "Good Time."

The lineup for the 1977 tour consisted of original Beach Boys members Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine. Bruce Johnston, who had joined the band in 1965, also performed with them during this tour.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are unique pieces of rock history and can also be simply a piece of nostalgia of your days of concert going. Great for any collector/investor. Fantastic early concert shots of band.
