THE TOUR
The Reading Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in the United Kingdom. The festival is known for featuring a wide range of rock, alternative, and indie bands, and it has a rich history dating back to the 1960s.

The 1992 Reading Festival featured a diverse lineup of bands and artists from various music genres. One of the performing bands was Nirvana.

Nirvana's headline slot at Reading '92, in front of 40,000 fans, was to be their last ever appearance in the UK. The festival occurred shortly after the birth of Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Nirvana's vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain and his wife Courtney Love, vocalist and guitarist of the American rock band, Hole. It was also performed amid press reports of Nirvana's possible dissolution, due to rumors of Cobain's addiction to heroin and tension within the band.
Other performers included Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Public Enemy, Smashing Pumpkins, P.J. Harvey, Public Enemy, The Beastie Boys, Bjorn Again, The Farm, L7 and The Charlatans amongst many others.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectable and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it. Tour programs often feature exclusive content like behind-the-scenes photos, interviews, and detailed information about the artists and their performances. Additionally, they serve as a snapshot of a particular era in an artist's career, making them valuable to both music enthusiasts and historians.  Whether you're a dedicated fan or a passionate collector, owning these programs offers a tangible connection to the music world and serves as a treasured piece of memorabilia.

Programs can also be framed together with other items we have on our website such as vinyl records, official stage guitar picks, autographs, backstage passes, concert tickets, drumsticks and photos and you can create a truly one-of-a-kind unique piece of memorabilia.
