THE TOUR

Rush embarked on a tour in 1982 and 1983 that covered both Europe and North America. This tour was referred to as the "Signals Tour" and supported their album "Signals," which was released in September 1982.

The Signals Tour was one of Rush's major concert tours in the early 1980s. Rush was a Canadian rock band known for their progressive rock and hard rock sound, with members Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyrics). The Signals Tour was in support of their ninth studio album, "Signals," which saw the band incorporating more synthesizers and electronic elements into their music while still maintaining their signature musicianship and thought-provoking lyrics.

Rush concerts were renowned for their high-energy performances, intricate musicianship, and elaborate stage setups. The Signals Tour was no exception, featuring impressive light shows, pyrotechnics, and innovative use of video screens. The band's mastery of their instruments, particularly Neil Peart's drumming skills, always left a lasting impression on the audience.

The setlist for the Signals Tour predominantly featured songs from the "Signals" album, including hits like "Subdivisions," "New World Man," "The Analog Kid," and "Countdown." Additionally, the band played selected songs from their previous albums, satisfying both longtime fans and newcomers.

The Signals Tour was another successful venture for Rush, solidifying their position as one of the leading progressive rock bands of the era. The "Signals" album received positive critical acclaim and contributed to the band's growing popularity. Over the years, Rush continued to evolve their sound and embarked on numerous successful tours, earning them a dedicated global fanbase.
