DESCRIPTION
Hot Rocks was a radio program series by United Stations Radio Networks. Each episode would highlight an artist and intertwine interview bits with music related to the artist. This series was succeeded by The Weekly Specials radio series once United Stations Radio Networks was fully absorbed into Unistar Radio Programming.
This set is the most complete example of how Radio Shows were distributed. Includes the letter from Hot Rocks outlining the broadcast agreement, the original unused individualised Roy Orbison postcard for the station to complete and return (obviously never was) and the 2 cue sheets outlining the entire program.
This show was released following Roy's death in 1988.
This is a great unique collectors item for any Roy Orbison and is is superb condition. Rarely, if ever, does this item come up for sale and definitely not as complete and in this condition.
