THE TOUR
The Rolling Stones' "A Bigger Bang" Tour was a worldwide concert tour that took place from 2005 to 2007 in support of their 22nd studio album, "A Bigger Bang," which was released in September 2005. The tour was one of the longest and highest-grossing concert tours in rock and roll history, spanning several years and covering numerous countries.

The tour began on August 21, 2005, with a show in Boston, Massachusetts, at Fenway Park.

The "A Bigger Bang" Tour was massive, featuring more than 147 concerts across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The band played in a wide variety of venues, from arenas and stadiums to smaller theaters and outdoor festivals.

The tour set several records, including the highest-grossing concert tour at that time. The Rolling Stones grossed over $550 million from the tour, surpassing the previous record held by U2's "Vertigo Tour."

The core members of the Rolling Stones, including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood, were joined by various backing musicians, including keyboardist Chuck Leavell and bassist Darryl Jones.

The tour included several notable stops and performances, such as a historic free concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which drew an estimated 1.5 million people. Other memorable shows included performances at famous venues like Madison Square Garden in New York City and London's Twickenham Stadium.

The A Bigger Bang Tour officially concluded on August 26, 2007, with a show in London's O2 Arena. It remains one of the most iconic and financially successful concert tours in rock history, cementing the Rolling Stones' status as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
