Released in 1971 on Buddah Records, Wilbert Harrison showcases the R&B pioneer’s smooth, soulful reinterpretations of classic tunes. Known for his 1959 hit “Kansas City,” Harrison brings his easy groove and bluesy warmth to tracks like “My Babe,” “Ain’t That a Shame,” and “Blueberry Hill.” A soulful and underrated gem that blends rhythm & blues tradition with early ’70s soul finesse.

COVER: VG (1.5 cm horizontal record company cut in bottom right corner, slight bend top right corner with 4cm side seam split, small 5mm red paper label dots near selected tracks. Have not attempted to remove them) Presentation still excellent.
