Cancellation policy

At Rockaway Records, we do our best to keep things rockin’ smoothly — but we get it, sometimes plans change. Here's how we handle cancellations and purchase options:


🎸 Order Cancellations (Before Dispatch)

Changed your mind?

No problem — if your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us ASAP on 07 3395 4707 during business hours. If you can't call please email sales@rockaway.com.au with your order number and cancellation request.

We’ll do our best to catch it in time.

Once an order has been packed and/or dispatched, we can no longer cancel it.


🛍️ Preorders & Special Orders

Preorders are firm commitments — especially for limited editions or hard to find items — so unfortunately, we can’t cancel preorders once they’re placed.

These items are ordered in especially for you and often can’t be resold if cancelled. Please double-check release dates, formats, and product details before placing a preorder.


🔄 Exchange Requests

We don’t offer order cancellations for change of mind, but in some cases, we may approve an exchange within 7 days of delivery. See our Returns & Exchanges page for details.


💳 Subscription or Payment Plans (If Applicable)

If any subscription or instalment payment plans are offered at checkout, the cancellation policy of that specific provider will apply.


🚫 Orders We May Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel an order (and refund you in full) if:

  • The item is out of stock or unavailable

  • The order appears suspicious or fraudulent

  • There’s a pricing or listing error
