Undated original official concert merchandise, published by Playbill (Australia) Pty Ltd. The tour was produced and presented in Australia by Lyric Promotions Pty Ltd. 

This is a really interesting program. It includes photos and in-depth biographical sketches of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Harry James, Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey, Earl Hines, Gene Krupa and Billy May. It also features bios and photos of all the musicians who performed the various arrangements.

The program is in excellent condition.

THE TOUR
This was a concert tour in Australia celebrating 50 years of swing. The term "swing" typically refers to a style of jazz music that was particularly popular from the 1930s to the 1940s. Some of the performers were Billy May (trumpet), Zeke Zarchy (trumpet), Si Zentner (trombone), Abe Most (reeds), Willie Schwartz (reeds), Al Lerner (piano), Red Callender (bass) and Alvin Stoller (drums).

Also performing were Martha Tilton, Art Lund, Ella Mae Morse and Herb Jeffries.

A concert featuring all of these artists would lhave presented a diverse and captivating repertoire of music, covering various jazz sub-genres, swing, and popular music from different eras. The audience would have been treated to a mix of instrumental and vocal performances, with each artist bringing their unique style and expertise to the stage.
