DESCRIPTION
Vintage original official concert merchandise from the actual gig in 1986 - over 37 years ago. Printed for the Australian tour by Plabybill (Australia) Pty Ltd. The tour was presented by A.T.A. Allstar Artists Pty Ltd.

This program features lots of photos and info about Val Doonican. It includes a 2 page spread of photos of Val with other TV and music stars. The booklet is in very good condition with minor age wear. It does have a mark on the front cover where a price sticker has been removed.

THE TOUR
Val Doonican was an Irish singer, guitarist, and television presenter known for his soothing and easy-listening style of music. He was born Michael Valentine Doonican on February 3, 1927, in Waterford, Ireland. He grew up in a musical family and developed an early interest in music and entertainment.

Val Doonican was known for his warm stage presence and his concerts were typically filled with his popular songs and humorous anecdotes. His tours to Australia were well-received, and he had a significant following in the country. He often performed in major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

This concert tour was Val's eighth trip to Australia and he continued touring until his retirement in 2009. He passed away on July 1, 2015, at the age of 88.
