Released by BGO Records in 2005, this remastered compilation brings together Gary Wright’s first two solo albums — Gary Wright’s Extraction (1970) and Footprint (1971) — both originally issued on A&M Records.

Gary Wright is an American born singer/songwriter & keyboard player and founding member of UK sixties rockers Spooky Tooth.

Best known for his later solo success with “Dream Weaver,” these early albums showcase Wright’s roots in psychedelic and classic rock, as well as his signature blend of soulful vocals, melodic songwriting, and introspective lyrics. Featuring performances from members of Spooky Tooth and Traffic, highlights include “Got On The Right Road,” “The Wrong Time,” and “Give Me The Good Earth.” The sound has been fully remastered, offering a warm, analog feel with excellent clarity — an essential collection for fans of Spooky Tooth, early '70s British rock, and the evolution of one of rock’s most underrated songwriters.
