DESCRIPTION
US A&M Records CD reissue of "T.R.A.S.H. (Tubes Rarities & Smash Hits)", the 1981 compilation from American rock band The Tubes. Featuring 11 tracks spanning the band's adventurous 1970s recordings, this collection combines fan favourites, rarities and distinctive interpretations of classic songs. Highlights include "White Punks On Dope", "What Do You Want From Life?", "Don't Touch Me There" and a live performance of "Mondo Bondage", alongside their version of "Love Will Keep Us Together". Featuring production contributions from Todd Rundgren, Al Kooper and Ken Scott, the album captures The Tubes' theatrical blend of hard rock, new wave, progressive rock and irreverent pop. An excellent collection for fans of inventive 1970s American rock.
