PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Faithful is the 1976 studio album by influential American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Todd Rundgren, presented here in a European remastered CD reissue on Bearsville and Rhino Records. The album is divided between faithful recreations of classic 1960s rock songs and Rundgren's own original compositions. The first half features inventive interpretations of material by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and The Yardbirds, including "Good Vibrations," "Rain" and "Strawberry Fields Forever." The second half showcases Rundgren's distinctive songwriting with favourites such as "Love Of The Common Man," "Cliche" and "The Verb 'To Love'." A fascinating blend of classic rock, sophisticated pop and studio craftsmanship from one of rock music's most innovative artists.
