PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Released in 2021 on Genre B.Goode and DRW, Gentlemen, Start Your Egos is a reissue of the early compilation from cult Australian alternative rock band TISM (This Is Serious Mum). Featuring 22 tracks, this expanded collection brings together rare recordings, alternative mixes, remixes and archival live performances from the band's formative years. Showcasing TISM's trademark blend of biting satire, irreverent humour, alternative rock, punk influences and electronic experimentation, highlights include The Back Upon Which Jezza Jumped, (I Think I've Got) Mick Jagger Worked Out, Gas! Gas! - An Ecstasy Of Fumbling, Babies Bite Back and I'm Interested In Apathy (Alternative Mix). Also includes nine live recordings from Melbourne's The Club in November 1986, capturing the band's chaotic early performances and provocative stage presence. A fascinating collection of rare material from one of Australia's most distinctive alternative bands and an essential addition to any TISM or Australian independent rock collection.
