PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Originally released in 1986, Form And Meaning Reach Ultimate Communion is the debut mini-album from cult Australian alternative rock band TISM (This Is Serious Mum). This expanded 2021 CD reissue on Genre B.Goode and DRW brings together the original eight-track mini-album, the early Defecate On My Face 7-inch single, rare Aztec Studios demos and archival recordings from the 1985 3RRR Battle Of The Bands, along with hidden introductory material. Showcasing the band's formative blend of punk rock, synth-pop, experimental music, absurdist humour and provocative social satire, highlights include Mistah Eliot - He Wanker, Kill Yourself Now And Avoid The Rush, Defecate On My Face, Root and I'm Into Led Zep. Offering a fascinating insight into the origins of one of Australia's most distinctive and controversial alternative bands, this expanded archival release is an essential addition to any TISM or Australian independent music collection.
