This is a stunning piece of history featuring black & white photos and information about the bands and the band members. Considering its age, it's in excellent condition with very minimal edge wear and age discolouration.

THE TOUR
Three Dog Night and The Guess Who toured together in Australia and New Zealand in late 1972. This tour was a part of the extensive touring both bands were doing during that time, and it was a significant event for music fans in Australia. Both bands were popular in the early 1970s and had a string of hit songs.

There was a domestic airline strike in Australia at the time so The Guess Who and Three Dog Night travelled the entire continent by train. 

Three Dog Night was formed in 1967 in Los Angeles, California. The band members included vocalists Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells, along with a group of talented musicians backing them. One of the distinctive features of the band was their powerful and harmonious vocals. The three lead singers complemented each other's voices, which contributed to the band's signature sound.

Three Dog Night had several chart-topping hits, including "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," "One," "Eli's Coming," "An Old Fashioned Love Song," "Shambala," and "Black and White." These songs helped establish the band as a mainstay on the pop and rock charts.

The Guess Who was formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, in the early 1960s. The members on this tour were Burton Cummings (vocals, keyboards), Garry Peterson (drums, vocals), Bill Wallace (bass, vocals), Kurt Winter (guitar, vocals) and Don McDougall (guitar, vocals).

The Guess Who had numerous hit singles, including "American Woman," "These Eyes," "No Time," "Undun," "Share the Land," and "Laughing." "American Woman" in particular became one of their most iconic songs. The band's music featured a fusion of rock and pop elements, characterized by strong melodies, memorable hooks, and the distinctive vocal style of Burton Cummings.
