DESCRIPTION
Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and David Byrne met as students at Rhode Island School of Design, and made music in a college band called The Artistics. In spring semester 1974, the band gathered in Frantz’s Benefit Street apartment to record a demo tape. The cassette featured tracks soon to be classics in the Talking Heads discography: “Warning Sign” and “Psycho Killer.”
This collection for RSD Black Friday includes this newly discovered material alongside an additional eleven demo and live tracks recorded by the original trio lineup of the band (Bassist Tina Weymouth alongside Frantz and Byrne) in 1975 and 1976.
Vinyl Colour/Design may slightly vary from the stock images shown on the website for this item.

FAQs

How do you grade vinyl or CDs?
Here at Rockaway we are very serious about our grading and we tend to be overly cautious meaning you might be pleasantly suprised when your vinyl or CDs arrive. Read our full grading guide.
Is it safe to post vinyl?
We take extra precautions with posting items and all vinyl is sent in LP packers which ensure a firm and sturdy case for the records.
Do your used records play?
We only put out records that we know will play. Some vinyl may have pops and crackles due to age, but if any track does not play then you can return a used vinyl for cash back or exchange. And records over $9.99 are cleaned by us and generally provided with a new inner sleeve and a new clear record outer sleeve.
How do I know your signed items are authentic?
All autographed items in Rockaway have been thoroughly researched and authenticated from the person that actually attained them and not any unknown 3rd parties. Signed items come with Rockaway Records Certificate of Authenticity and lifetime guarantee!
Is the store at Carindale your only store?
Yes, we are the only Rockaway Records Australia, but we do have a brother store in L.A. Our only bricks and mortar is located in the Westfield Carindale. (Brisbane)
