DESCRIPTION
Extremely rare 1979 US promotional 12" issued by Record Plant, Los Angeles. Produced in a reported edition of just 100 copies, this unique release was created to demonstrate the difference between the newly installed 3M digital recording system and a simultaneous analogue recording. Both sides contain the same two versions of "Cherokee": one recorded digitally and one recorded in analogue, making this an important piece of recording history.
