Two concerts from Richie Havens’s early-’70s peak, recorded live at The Cellar Door in Washington, D.C., and the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Originally performed in late 1971 and early 1972 and released September 30, 1995 on Five Star, this single CD captures his iconic rendition of “Here Comes the Sun” alongside “Fire and Rain,” “All Along the Watchtower,” “God Bless the Child” and more, showcasing his soulful voice and rhythmic guitar across 12 tracks.
