Queen – 1st International Fan Club Convention Set (1986)

A rare pairing of original items from the very first official Queen Fan Club Convention, held in Great Yarmouth, England, from 25–27 April 1986. This landmark event brought fans together in the lead-up to Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury, making it a highly significant piece of band history.

Convention Banner Flyer: Printed souvenir-style sheet reading “Queen Convention – Great Yarmouth 1986,” produced for the event and displayed at the venue. Simple black print on white paper, now scarce to find intact. A crease from fold is visable. 

Convention Postcard: Original fan club postcard featuring a blue monochrome image of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, with printed event details (“1st International Queen Fan Club Convention, Friday 25–27 April 1986, Great Yarmouth”).

Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with only minor handling wear. Together they represent an important early chapter in Queen fan culture, directly connected to the band’s activities in 1986, the same year as their legendary ‘Magic Tour.’
