PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Originally released in 1985, Birdy is the atmospheric instrumental soundtrack composed by Peter Gabriel for Alan Parker's acclaimed film starring Matthew Modine and Nicolas Cage. Blending ambient electronics, experimental soundscapes, haunting melodies and atmospheric percussion, the album reworks elements of Gabriel's earlier recordings alongside original compositions. Highlights include "At Night", "Floating Dogs", "Birdy's Flight" and "The Heat". This 2002 European remastered CD reissue on Real World Records and Virgin offers an immersive listening experience and is an essential addition for fans of Peter Gabriel, ambient music and innovative film scores.
