This 1991 Australasian EMI cassette features Nigel Kennedy’s passionate and highly regarded interpretation of Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D, Op.77. Performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Klaus Tennstedt, the recording is known for its expressive intensity and technical brilliance. The Adagio movement features a beautifully rendered oboe solo by David Theodore.
