BRAND NEW & SEALED

DESCRIPTION
Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 exclusive release. Celebrating what would have been Marianne Faithfull's 80th birthday on December 29, 2026, Eye Communication: Live At The Wax Museum presents an exceptionally rare live recording from the legendary British singer's 1983 North American tour. Recorded at the Wax Museum in Washington, D.C. on October 2, 1983, the performance captures Faithfull during her acclaimed early 1980s resurgence, featuring songs from Broken English, Dangerous Acquaintances and A Child's Adventure, alongside the previously unreleased track Rising. Transferred from the original analogue tapes and restored and mastered by Andrew Batt, this special edition has been released with the support of the Marianne Faithfull estate. Pressed on 180g double vinyl, the set features music across three sides, with Side D displaying an etching in Faithfull's handwriting of an excerpt from William Blake's poem The Tyger. The package also includes a booklet with liner notes by Andrew Batt, new interviews, previously unseen photographs and rare memorabilia. Limited to 1,800 copies worldwide for RSD Black Friday 2026.

Vinyl Colour/Design may slightly vary from the stock images shown on the website for this item.
