PRE-OWNED BOOK

DESCRIPTION
The Making Of Evita by Alan Parker is the official behind-the-scenes account of the making of the 1996 film Evita, starring Madonna, Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Pryce. Written by the film's director, writer and co-producer, the book documents the challenges of bringing the celebrated stage musical to the screen, including casting Madonna as Eva Perón, filming on location in Argentina and gaining permission to use the balcony of Buenos Aires' presidential palace. Lavishly illustrated with more than 100 colour movie stills and behind-the-scenes photographs, it provides a detailed visual record of one of Madonna's most significant film roles.
