PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
2007 UK release of The Unfairground, the acclaimed final studio album by influential British singer-songwriter and former Soft Machine member Kevin Ayers. His first studio album in 15 years, it marked a celebrated return, blending whimsical psychedelic pop, melodic folk rock and thoughtful songwriting with his unmistakably warm baritone vocals. Featuring contributions from members of Teenage Fanclub, Roxy Music and other notable musicians, the album includes highlights "Only Heaven Knows," "Cold Shoulder," "Baby Come Home" and "Shine A Light." Released on Lo-Max Records, this beautifully crafted collection captures Ayers' eccentric charm, gentle humour and enduring musical creativity.
