This is a 20 page booklet which includes a history of big jazz bands, the international tour locations, and biographical sketches of the musicians.

THE TOUR
Gene Harris and the Philip Morris Superband's 1989 Australia Concert Tour was a significant event in the world of jazz music. Gene Harris, a renowned American jazz pianist, and bandleader, led the Philip Morris Superband, which was a project sponsored by the Philip Morris tobacco company. The Superband was known for featuring some of the most accomplished and celebrated jazz musicians of the time.

The 1989 Australia Concert Tour was part of the Superband's international tour, and it attracted a lot of attention and jazz enthusiasts in Australia.
