PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Originally released in 2007 on Six Degrees Records, Dub Qawwali is a groundbreaking collaboration between Italian electronic producer Gaudi and legendary Pakistani Qawwali vocalist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Blending traditional Sufi devotional vocals with deep Jamaican dub basslines, atmospheric electronica, ambient textures and downtempo rhythms, this 10-track album reimagines rare recordings of Khan's extraordinary voice through Gaudi's distinctive production style. Featuring highlights Bethe Bethe Kese Kese, Dil Da Rog Muka Ja Mahi and Ena Akhiyan Noo, the album offers a captivating fusion of Eastern spirituality and contemporary electronic music. An acclaimed cross-cultural release and an essential addition to any world music, dub or electronic collection.
