PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Released in 1996 as a self-released compilation, The Essential GANGgajang is a 19-track collection celebrating the distinctive sound of iconic Australian rock band GANGgajang. Blending melodic pop rock, folk rock and infectious guitar-driven rhythms, the album showcases the band's evocative songwriting and unmistakably Australian character. Features their beloved anthem Sounds Of Then (This Is Australia), alongside favourites Gimme Some Lovin', Hundreds Of Languages, Giver Of Life, Distraction, The Bigger They Are and House Of Cards. Also includes guest contributions from Reg Mombassa and Wendy Matthews, plus bonus Mad Wax remixes of Initiation and Sounds Of Then. An excellent retrospective of one of Australia's most cherished bands and an essential addition to any classic Australian rock collection.
