DESCRIPTION
Vintage original official concert merchandise from the actual gig in 1987 - over 36 years ago. Printed for the Australian leg of the 1986/87 worldwide tour. The Australian promoter for this tour was Michael Coppel.

This is a gorgeous piece of music history featuring 24 pages of great, full colour photos and is in excellent condition. The program inclues rice paper inner leaves with an introduction by Bob Geldof and biographies of each of the seven band members.

THE TOUR
The Eurythmics, a British pop duo consisting of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, embarked on a world tour in 1986 and 1987 to support their album "Revenge." The tour was known as the "Revenge Tour" and marked a significant period in the band's career.

"Revenge" was the sixth studio album by the Eurythmics, released in 1986. The album featured a departure from their earlier synth-pop sound, incorporating more rock and pop elements. It was a commercial success and produced several hit singles, including "Missionary Man," "Thorn in My Side," "When Tomorrow Comes," and "The Miracle of Love."

The "Revenge Tour" was the Eurythmics' biggest tour up to that point and covered a significant portion of the world. The tour showcased the Eurythmics' dynamic live performances and their ability to adapt their music to a live setting.

Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart's chemistry on stage, combined with their unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic influences, contributed to the tour's success.
