PRE-OWNED BOOK

DESCRIPTION
Published in 1984 for the following year, Doctor Who Annual 1985 celebrates the 21st year of the long-running BBC science-fiction series. Interestingly, the year “1985” appears only on the spine, while the front cover carries the banner “21st Year Anniversary Issue”. Featuring Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor alongside Peri and the Master, this vintage annual combines original illustrated fiction with behind-the-scenes features from the television series.

Contents include seven original stories – Battle Planet, Day of the Dragon, The Real Hereward, The Deadly Weed, Vorton's Revenge, The Time Savers and The Mystery of the Rings – together with features examining production design and special effects. A great piece of mid-1980s Doctor Who memorabilia from the early Sixth Doctor era.
