Released in 2019, Desert Sessions Vol. 11 & 12 marks the long-awaited return of Josh Homme’s cult collaborative project. Recorded at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, this collection features an eclectic lineup of musicians including Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters), and Les Claypool (Primus). Blending desert rock grit, experimental textures, and quirky humour, these sessions capture the spontaneous, free-spirited essence that has made Desert Sessions a revered creative outlet since the late ‘90s.
