BRAND NEW & SEALED

DESCRIPTION
Remastered vinyl reissue of Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders), the influential 1987 compilation from British experimental music pioneers Coil. Originally conceived as a companion release bridging Horse Rotorvator and Love's Secret Domain, the album explores industrial, electronic and avant-garde soundscapes through atmospheric instrumentals, field recordings and experimental sampling. Remastered under the guidance of original Coil member Stephen Thrower, this 2026 edition features restored artwork, previously unseen imagery and new sleeve notes, launching a new reissue series through The Grey Area of Mute.

Vinyl Colour/Design may slightly vary from the stock images shown on the website for this item.
