Vintage original official concert merchandise from the actual gig in 1962 - over 61 years ago. Printed for Australia by Grant & WalkerPty Ltd Leichardt NSW. Also appearing with Chubby Checker was Bobby Rydell, Del Shannon, Diane Hilton and The Peppermints.

This is a stunning  piece of history is a snapshot of the 60s era and includes many fabulous retro advertisements.

THE TOUR
The tour was organized and promoted by Lee Gordon, a prominent Australian music promoter known for bringing international acts to Australia.

Chubby Checker and Bobby Rydell were both popular American musicians during the early 1960s and were among the leading figures in the rock and roll and pop music scenes at the time. They were famous for their energetic performances and hit songs that resonated with audiences worldwide.
