Symphonies Of Sickness is the brutal second album from British extreme metal pioneers Carcass, originally released in 1989. A landmark release in grindcore and early death metal, the album pushed the band’s gore-soaked lyrical themes and ferocious sound even further, blending blistering speed with complex riffs and grotesque medical imagery. Tracks like “Exhume To Consume” and “Reek Of Putrefaction” helped establish Carcass as one of the most influential bands in the development of grindcore and goregrind.
