Formed in Lubbock, Texas in the mid-1950s, The Crickets—featuring Buddy Holly, Jerry Allison, Joe B. Mauldin, and Niki Sullivan—became pioneers of rock and roll, influencing generations of musicians. Following Holly’s tragic death in 1959, Jerry Allison and Joe B. Mauldin carried on The Crickets’ legacy, keeping their timeless hits like That’ll Be The Day, Oh Boy!, and Maybe Baby alive on stage.
