DESCRIPTION

Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful is the first official book celebrating 25 years of one of the world's most successful rock bands. Published in 2009, this beautifully illustrated hardcover offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at Bon Jovi's extraordinary career, featuring personal reflections from Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres.

Featuring previously unpublished photographs by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Phil Griffin, the book takes readers on a journey from the band's early days and their explosive success in the 1980s through to their more recent world tours. Personal stories, memories and candid observations from the band members accompany photographs capturing life on stage, backstage and on the road.

The book revisits the band's classic hits, including Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive and You Give Love A Bad Name, while documenting their continued success during the Lost Highway and Circle eras. With an introduction and contributions from Jon Bon Jovi, this is an impressive photographic tribute to the band's enduring legacy and a wonderful addition to any Bon Jovi collection.
