Released in 2015, The Magic Whip is Blur’s eighth studio album and their first in 12 years featuring the classic lineup of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree. Recorded largely in Hong Kong, the album blends atmospheric indie rock with electronic textures and sharp songwriting, featuring standout tracks including “Go Out”, “Lonesome Street” and “Ghost Ship”.
