PRE-OWNED CD

DESCRIPTION
Released in 1996, For The Record... is a 17-track compilation celebrating the sophisticated pop, soul and dance sounds of British band The Blow Monkeys. Led by charismatic frontman Dr. Robert, the collection features their biggest hits, including Digging Your Scene, It Doesn't Have To Be This Way, Out With Her and Some Kind Of Wonderful. Also includes collaborations with Curtis Mayfield, Kym Mazelle and Sylvia Tella, alongside extended mixes and remixes by Paul Weller. A fantastic introduction to the band's distinctive blend of 1980s sophisti-pop, blue-eyed soul and infectious dance grooves.
