BRAND NEW & SEALED

DESCRIPTION
Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 exclusive first release. Billy Joel Tonight captures Billy Joel's December 5, 1976 performance at Connecticut College, recorded for his first-ever television special. For nearly 50 years, most of the concert's multitrack recordings remained unreleased. Now presented in stereo for the first time, newly mixed from the original tapes, this release features performances of classics including Piano Man, New York State Of Mind, The Entertainer and Captain Jack. Also includes additional recordings from a December 6 production session and the original 1977 television special master. A newly restored document of Billy Joel's pivotal Turnstiles era, this special edition includes an exclusive 12" x 12" print. Limited to 4,600 copies.

Vinyl Colour/Design may slightly vary from the stock images shown on the website for this item.
