THE TOUR
Paul Young is a British singer and songwriter who rose to fame in the 1980s. He was born on January 17, 1956, in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. Young's music career began as the frontman of the bands Kat Kool & the Kool Cats, Streetband, and Q-Tips before embarking on a successful solo career.

He gained widespread recognition with the release of his debut solo album, "No Parlez," in 1983. The album featured hit singles like "Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)" and "Come Back and Stay," which propelled him to international stardom. Young's soulful voice and ability to blend pop, rock, and R&B elements contributed to the album's success.

In 1985, Young released his second album, "The Secret of Association," which included the smash hit "Everytime You Go Away." This song became one of his signature tracks and achieved chart-topping success, further solidifying his position in the music industry.

The tour in support of "The Secret of Association" was a major undertaking for Paul Young. It involved various international legs, and Australia was one of the countries he visited to promote the album.

Paul Young's distinctive voice, emotive performances, and ability to interpret a wide range of musical genres endeared him to fans worldwide. His contributions to the music industry, particularly during the 1980s, solidify his place as a prominent figure in pop and soul music.
