THE TOUR
The Moody Blues  were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in May 1964. The group toured Australia over 2 months in 1987 as part of their "The Other Side of Life" tour. The tour took place in various cities across Australia, with the first of their Australian concerts held in Brisbane on the 19th February and the last one held in Perth on the 6th March.

"The Other Side of Life" was a pivotal album for The Moody Blues, marking a departure from their earlier symphonic sound towards a more radio-friendly, pop-rock sound. The album included the hit single "Your Wildest Dreams," which became one of their most commercially successful songs.

The core members of The Moody Blues during this tour were Justin Hayward (vocals, guitar), John Lodge (bass, vocals), Graeme Edge (drums, percussion), Ray Thomas (flute) and Patrick Moraz (keyboards).

The band's unique blend of rock and orchestral elements, often featuring the Mellotron and lush vocal harmonies, resonated with audiences in Australia and around the world. The Moody Blues had a significant fan base in the country, and their concerts were known for their elaborate light shows and multimedia presentations, adding to the overall experience.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectable and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it. Tour programs often feature exclusive content like behind-the-scenes photos, interviews, and detailed information about the artists and their performances. Additionally, they serve as a snapshot of a particular era in an artist's career, making them valuable to both music enthusiasts and historians.  Whether you're a dedicated fan or a passionate collector, owning these programs offers a tangible connection to the music world and serves as a treasured piece of memorabilia.

Programs can also be framed together with other items we have on our website such as vinyl records, official stage guitar picks, autographs, backstage passes, concert tickets, drumsticks and photos and you can create a truly one-of-a-kind unique piece of memorabilia.
