THE TOUR
Metallica's 2003/04 World Tour was a major concert tour undertaken by the American heavy metal band Metallica to promote their eighth studio album, "St. Anger," which was released in June 2003. The tour spanned multiple continents and featured numerous performances.

The album, "St. Anger,"marked a departure from their previous work, featuring a raw and aggressive sound. It received mixed reviews from fans and critics but was commercially successful.

During the tour, Metallica released a documentary film titled "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster." The documentary provided an intimate look at the band's struggles, including creative differences and personal issues, during the making of "St. Anger" and their journey to recovery. It received critical acclaim and shed light on the band's dynamics.

The lineup for this tour consisted of James Hetfield (vocals and rhythm guitar), Lars Ulrich (drums), Kirk Hammett (lead guitar), and Robert Trujillo (bass guitar). This tour was significant as it marked the debut of Robert Trujillo as Metallica's bassist, replacing Jason Newsted.

The tour faced some challenges, including Hetfield's ongoing battle with alcoholism and the band's strained interpersonal relationships. These issues were documented in the "Some Kind of Monster" film.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectable and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it. Tour programs often feature exclusive content like behind-the-scenes photos, interviews, and detailed information about the artists and their performances. Additionally, they serve as a snapshot of a particular era in an artist's career, making them valuable to both music enthusiasts and historians.  Whether you're a dedicated fan or a passionate collector, owning these programs offers a tangible connection to the music world and serves as a treasured piece of memorabilia.

Programs can also be framed together with other items we have on our website such as vinyl records, official stage guitar picks, autographs, backstage passes, concert tickets, drumsticks and photos and you can create a truly one-of-a-kind unique piece of memorabilia.
