THE TOUR
The "Kiss My Ass Downunder" was part of the larger "Kiss My Ass" tour by the American rock band Kiss. This tour took place in 1995 and was notable for several reasons. The tour was named after the album "Kiss My Ass: Classic Kiss Regrooved," which was released in 1994. This album featured various artists covering Kiss songs, and it was a tribute to the band's music. The tour aimed to promote this album.
By 1995, Kiss had undergone several lineup changes. The classic lineup of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss had evolved, and the touring lineup at the time of this tour featured Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, and Eric Singer. This marked a period of transition for the band.
