The original Main Event concert took place in late 1998. It was a highly successful concert tour across Australia, featuring performances by John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, and Anthony Warlow.
The Main Event concert was reprised in the early 2000s, specifically in 2001. The artists once again came together to perform in various cities in Australia.
