THE TOUR
Genesis toured Great Britain and North America following the release of their 1980 album, Duke, which was well received by both critics and fans alike.

The tour began in March of 1980 in Paignton, England and ended on June 30th the same year in Saratoga Springs, New York.

It was the band's fourth tour since the departure of singer Peter Gabriel, the second tour since the departure of guitarist Steve Hackett.

Throughout the tour, Genesis played to enthusiastic audiences across the UK and North America. Some of the most memorable concerts during the North American leg included shows at venues like the Forum in Los Angeles, the Tower Theater in Philadelphia, and Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

During the concerts, Phil Collins displayed his versatility by handling both lead vocal duties and drumming. He had already established himself as a successful solo artist, and his contributions to Genesis as the lead vocalist brought a distinct flavor to the band's sound.

The "Duke Tour" further solidified Genesis's position as a prominent and influential band in the music industry. It showcased their ability to evolve their musical style while maintaining a strong connection with their existing fanbase.

COLLECTABILITY
Tour programs are highly collectable and sought after for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a tangible memento of a specific concert or event, allowing fans to relive the experience and cherish the memories associated with it. Tour programs often feature exclusive content like behind-the-scenes photos, interviews, and detailed information about the artists and their performances. Additionally, they serve as a snapshot of a particular era in an artist's career, making them valuable to both music enthusiasts and historians.  Whether you're a dedicated fan or a passionate collector, owning these programs offers a tangible connection to the music world and serves as a treasured piece of memorabilia.

Programs can also be framed together with other items we have on our website such as vinyl records, official stage guitar picks, autographs, backstage passes, concert tickets, drumsticks and photos and you can create a truly one-of-a-kind unique piece of memorabilia.
