DESCRIPTION
Vintage original official concert merchandise from the actual gig in 1990 - over 33 years ago. Large size program with excellent colour shots of the band. Measures 29cm wide by 42cm high.
This program is part of an amazing warehouse find of overstock programs from the time that have now seen the light of day.
We have a few of these programs in stock. Condition varies but generally very good with some scuffing and/or price sticker/residue.
The best program available will be sent upon ordering.

THE TOUR
Dio's "Lock Up the Wolves" tour took place in 1990 to promote their fifth studio album of the same name, "Lock Up the Wolves." The album marked a departure from Dio's previous work, as it featured a new lineup with guitarist Rowan Robertson replacing Craig Goldy. This tour was significant because it showcased the band's new direction and introduced fans to their fresh sound.
The tour began on November 9, 1990, in Glasgow, Scotland, and continued throughout Europe, North America, and Asia, with dates in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, and the United States. The setlist for the tour included a mix of classic Dio songs along with tracks from the "Lock Up the Wolves" album.
Unfortunately, tensions within the band led to changes in the lineup after this tour, with Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice being the only remaining members from the original Dio lineup. Despite the changes, the "Lock Up the Wolves" tour remains a memorable chapter in Dio's history and is remembered by fans for its energetic performances and the introduction of new material.
